Is incontinence an ailment that comes with growing older? It is a problem that is usually associated with old age. Although it is more common in the elderly, many adults also suffer from incontinence. In short or longer periods, almost half of women suffer from involuntary urine loss. In addition, about 10% of men are incontinent.
However, it is incorrect to think that nothing can be done about it. There are various aids that offer a solution and make living with incontinence more pleasant. Also for you!
Bedwetting in adults
Between 1-2% of adults in the Netherlands wet the bed. This can be a temporary problem, for example as a result of an operation. But many adults have been struggling with this since childhood.
We offer two different solutions for incontinence/urination problems at night:
- Bedwetting alarm with sensor pants, or
- Bedwetting alarm with a special bed mat.
Would you like to use the bedwetting alarm, but without a loud sound? This can also be done using an alarm clock to which a vibrating element can be connected. By turning the sound off (or soft), you will only be woken up by the vibrating alarm. The bedwetting alarm can also be rented for temporary use.
